Eliana is an incredibly relatable character -- to feel like you fit in one day and then all of a sudden you are the punchline, people are picking on you to your face, snickering behind your back, all of it just screams elementary and middle school. Heck, even high school! Kids can be mean, and Eliana knows just what that feels like. She was nicknamed "Splash" after innocently doing a cannonball into her pool during her birthday party. A moment of fun turns into years of mocking and ridicule. I just want to hug her!
