I love Ellie already. She is sick of being fat shamed and especially sick of being criticized by her mother. Ellie is a strong woman who refuses to put herself down to make others more comfortable. She is a hero. I love the body positivity. I've read a few novels in verse this year and have fallen in love with books written this way. Can't wait to read the rest.
