The book is told in the format of poems. I'm not sure if they can be considered poems but that is the format. I can read the book really quickly and I think she really captures the way people feel when they're over weight. That feeling of just wanting to be like everyone else, how awful it feels when you shop for clothes. I wouldn't read it because the format just isn't for me.
