I was excited for this premise for the book. When I opened it, I was not expecting the chapters to be in poem form. I think it makes this even more poignant based on the topic. It almost reminds me of the type of poems a girl works on in her room or in her diary. Because of the length of the poems, it's an easy read and I needed to make sure I didn't rush through it. I absolutely love the cover and think this will stand out on a lot of shelfs. I think a lot of people will be able to relate to the insecurities detailed in the book.
