Novel in verse seems like a trend, but as with most of these, the verse part is seriously lacking in craft, and the novel part is rendered overly simplistic in terms of interiority and character development. A lot of the "poems" seems like very simple prose with line breaks inserted randomly, and it was grating to read. The premise seems really promising - love the body positive theme - but the execution left me disappointed.
