Starfish is a novel written in verse, so it is an easy read. The flow is smooth, and I'm guessing you can probably finish the novel in 1 - 2 sittings.
Although I get the premise of body-shaming and how it should have no place in our society, I felt as if Ellie just resigned herself to being the way she is and not really caring about how to improve. It's like getting a participation trophy. So, it just made me a little angry. One star. I didn't like it.
