Unexpected poetry! I loved that this is written in verse which manages to portray emotions so much better, sometimes. The protagonist starts to love herself when she doesn’t have to answer to anyone else in the quiet of the water. She is given space to be herself which creates a metamorphosis! The author battles a sensitive topic but handles it with grace.
