So far this story is both breaking my heart and filling it. As a parent, reading the way Ellie is treated by her mother and siblings is heartbreaking and infuriating, but the support from her dad and what she's starting to find about herself after a trip to a store that has clothes that actually fit her body is warming. This seems like such a smart, supportive story that I'm thrilled will be out in the world. The lovely cover and the author's sweet dedication at the beginning just add to how great this story seems.
