This book immediately caught my eye as the cover is bright and fun. I also love the premise. Young girls are told way too often by the world that they must look and act a certain way in order to be valuable and I love that this story counters that message. I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about it being written in verse but I actually enjoyed it.
