I do occasionally like reading books in verse, and this one sounded uplifted and inspiring. I then came to find out this one is actually for children, a middle grade book in verse. You don't tend to see middle grade books in verse, so that was interesting. That being said, the style was a more juvenile for my liking, but that's to be expected for a middle grade book, so it was still cute. Would be a good book for kids.
