My heart ached while reading this because I know that this isn’t just a story from a book. This is real life. People experience this type of thing all the time and it’s NOT okay. This book deals with a touchy subject for many, but I think that this book can also really help a lot of people. This may be a Middle Grade, but I think everyone will appreciate this book. I love the format of this book. The author made a wise choice. It makes the effect so much more powerful and effective. Its blunt and direct but I think it’s needed. Either to make people aware, or to help those who know all too well. Absolutely a must read!
