Pretty much everything about this book sucked me in - the cover, the dedication, the first poem, the second poem... you get the gist! I'm a mother of two-middle grade girls and already I see how body image issues affect them. This book is such a needed one for kids their age and I would love to read the rest with them. And who can disagree with Splash's love of school supplies, especially that notebook for a brand-new start.
