This was a very interesting, thought provoking space story. I really enjoyed the mystery aspect and how everything started tying together as each person's story was told from their POV and from both past and present. I was slightly disappointed though by how certain mysteries popped up (her dad's entire illness, the picture of the extinct creature popping up that shouldn't exist, the creepy corruption of her photo files) that made everything so creepy and disturbing, but are never solved nor gone back to. I understand that survival and getting help are the most important factors once you reach a certain point, but after that, I was hoping to get some answers. Instead, the book ended on a more philosophical note, about what makes us who we are and how our experiences and stories can change us in vastly different ways. It was a great way to end a story about "teleportation" and questioning what makes a person a person, but those unsolved mysteries that I had thought were so integral to the story bother me without a concrete solution.
