I thought the way this was written was wonderful. It hooked me from the beginning. I wanted to know what was going on and how it was all going to be played out. I was ecstatic that I won the book so thank you to Net Galley/Bookish and publisher for that.
This has movie written all over it. I found it fascinating that people can be 3-D scanned and the future ideas the book created. I do not want to spoil anything fo r any one who may be reading the book.
The book explores the future of exploring space by 3-D printing of people. That alone should peak your interest.
Jessica Mathers is 17 and wakes up in a lander that's crashed onto a planet that she and her parents were meant to study until things went wrong. The planet is suppose to be extinct and is 14 light years from Earth. Earth where Jessica was happy living with grandparents until her parents told her to meet them in space.
What she finds as she explores, what she learns about herself is also remarkable. I I highly recommend this book. I look forward to reading more by Mathew J. Kirby
