I didn't know at all what I was getting into reading this book. The first impression implied it would be interesting with some cool ideas. However, I wasn't expecting the thriller aspect at all.
Basically, you have the main character, Jessica, describing her experience on the spaceship before something big happened. Then it jumps to her afterwards stranded on a new planet she knows nothing about.
I enjoyed the description of the planet because I was able to picture it completely. I loved the dynamic of the creatures and the unknowns of the landscape that created some realistic hurdles.
Most of what i loved, I can't talk about as it would ruin some of the surprise of the book.
The cover was also really intriguing. I'm big on unique covers that draw the eye and this one definitely got my attention.
There was some cursing in the book, however there was no romance which was actually really refreshing!
I definitely recommend any sci-fi fans to give this a shot.
