This story stars Jessica in her struggle of joining her parents in space to do research, until something wrong happens with their arrival. Now she must survive on an unknown planet and find her way back home to save them all.
When I started this book, there was a twist in the story that I was not expecting. But after that, the rest of the book was predictable. This is not inherently bad. However, the author's writing and the storyline is well done and it was easy to read through the book. I love the sci-fi twist that the author grants us and makes you feel as if you're really in a different world. The struggle between the main character and experiencing the new planet, new memories, and new characters does make for a good read. I would recommend this book if you are interested in sci-fi and mystery even though it was predictable throughout the majority.
