I really enjoyed the First Look of this book. I haven’t read too many books on space travel or teleportation, but I think the author does a really good job introducing how everything works without getting into too much of the nitty gritty details. I also enjoyed the different perspectives starting with Jim Kelly in the first chapter basically introducing the MC and the basic background details and then going into Jessica Mathers and her perspectives. I also like the alternating chapters written in the past and present. This way we get the full story of what happened on the ship.
Overall, this book captures your attention from the start and the holds onto it as new information is introduced. I would definitely preorder this book and I look forward to getting to read the whole thing.
