I'm not a fan of young adult books. They seem to cater to females and along with too much romance, they often contain drugs, alcohol and sex scenes. Since the ages of YA start at 12, I wonder why they do that?
This book, written by a middle school author, I hope breaks the mold. The plot sounds intriguing enough that I'd like to read it.
