I'm usually not that into sci-fi type stories, but I was pleasantly surprised with the excerpt that I read. I think what really helped me get into it was the mystery aspect of the concept--it's eerie and creepy in a good way. So basically the concept drew me in, and the writing kept my interest to where I would like to read more!
