This book establishes the central mystery very quickly and I was definitely hooked after the first two chapters. Fascinating premise, interesting thematic questions about identity, and enough tidbits of the mystery to start me asking questions immediately about the plot. Plus I think the two POVs will be fascinating, and I'm super curious how the central tension between the POVs (to not get into spoilers since it wasn't part of the synopsis) will be resolved.
