From the start this book was fascinating. The premise of teleportation to different planets really intrigued me. But more importantly, the plot grabbed me from the start. What happened to the Theseus? Why is Jessica the only one left and why did another her print? Why did her parents never show up. The layers are unraveled piece by piece even within the first few chapters. At first, we think something went wrong in the initial teleportation, then it is discovered that she had made it and something went wrong after the fact.
The cover is also fascinating and builds a theme of duality and isolation at the same time. It very much captures the sci-fi feeling.
