The cover kind of draws your eye in and appropriately conveys the feeling of this sample, but at the same time feels like the AI business people have been complaining about recently. As far as the book itself goes, the writing is smooth and I'm sure diehard genre fans will snap it up, but the voice doesn't really feel very YA, which, according to the description, it is. I wasn't drawn into anything here and wouldn't read more.
