Captivating and Everything Sci-Fi Should Be

This is the best first look I have read on bookishfirst. To start, the cover is beautifully done and simplistic enough to catch your eye but not give too much away. Next, the way the book starts is incredible. I loved getting to know our main character through the eyes of someone who was looking at her factually. It gave the book a very sterile and sci-fi feel right from the start. I was also immediately drawn in by her waking up on the other planet and finding the gravesite, it made the situation very dark and I wanted to continue reading more and more. Ultimately, I think this was an incredible introduction to this world and I cannot wait to get my hands on this book in the near future!
