As a literature-lover, I appreciated the nod Star Splitter gives to Robert Frost's "The Star-Splitter". However, as a not-big-fan of sci-fi, this novel does not appeal to me. But, that falls ultimately to my taste rather than the quality of said novel. Novelwise, it seems well-written and thrilling for any space lovers out there.
