I will say when I read the description of this book, I was on the fence. I like YA Sci-fi but have a harder time getting into the more adult side of the genre. We start with Jess having traveled through a teleportation device to a new planet. She's going to join her parents, but when she wakes up the ship is destroyed and there's another person on the planet - another version of herself. I'm so invested!
