Story opens very promising in another world unlike our own. Main character is in a dangerous place and is able to overcome the situation based on her abilities. However, her abilities have now taken her away from her mother and the world she knows. A tough lesson about the choices we have to make sometimes. This isn't for me, but I could see getting lost in this world.
