So right off the bat we have an interesting YA Fantasy. It features dangerous monsters, battles, and Indian philosophy. Now this alone would have intrigued me but then it said Ember in the Ashes meets Avatar: the Last Airbender, which made me realize how much I need this book in my life. After reading the excerpt, it left me wanting to read more. The story was gripping, and I like the cover of the book.I love Aina's humor and her overall vibe; I can tell this book is going to be great. I can't wait to read about her journey.
