I've been slower to start new YA series until more of the books come out because I forget so many details in between. That said, I do love the cover art for this book and the premise given in the blurb and I am now tempted to break my own rules. The first impression was a little slow-paced for me and the writing style was a little choppier than I would like. This is a favorite genre of mine so while it wasn't overly captivating with the first look, I would still give this book a read!
