As a Young Adult fantasy, 'Spin of Fate' isn't the kind of book I generally read but I love the colors and design on the front of the book. I did enjoy reading Aina's story and can commiserate with her angst over her mother left in the lower realm. Aranel seems self-serving and we will see if he takes some risks to move on up. I would give this excerpt three stars.
