The world (or worlds, I guess) in which this takes place is quite different from Western high fantasy worlds, and so far I really like the setup. The concepts that Vora has set up, such as relative morality, overconsumption, and class disparity are all things I want to read about. I want to learn more about the magic system! The only thing I'm not sure about is the language, which seems intentionally childish in places (e.g. referring to very real danger as 'the stupid soldiers,' etc.). I definitely want to read more!
