Savannah “Sparrow” Rose has always been good at keeping secrets. Her life changes after a traumatic abuse situation and must come to terms with her past and her present to be able to move forward.
This was a beautiful and emotional story about hope and overcoming abuse and trauma. It was difficult to read sometimes like pressing hard on a bruise, but Jackson deals with some very sensitive, but relevant issues with so much grace. It was easy to become attached to the characters and to care about what was happening to them. I was cheering for Sparrow the entire time. Highly recommend!
