This was a beautiful but heartbreaking novel.
Sparrow is a talented ballerina with a difficult past who becomes the victim of a violent assault at the hands of her abusive boyfriend.
This follows Sparrow both before and after the attack as she struggles to rebuild her life as well as following her best friend and dance partner Lucas who secretly adores her.
I found this to be quite the compelling read and enjoyed it more then I thought I would have.
I don’t read many contemporary books really but really wanted to read this because I was a ballerina before and it hit close to home, plus the cover is beautiful and gave me that Black Swan vibe while reading too.
I will be highly recommending this one!!
