This book has the tones of hopeful youth and that teasing glare of something more to come. It’s always hard to talk abuse victims and how to process when something has happened to you and what it means. The fact this black and white gives a feel of stark winter desolation, there is always the spring after winter and the hope for new growth. Hopefully Sparrow will find her hope and growth.
