...Will they take flight or be crushed? The First Impression excerpt is so light and hopeful, almost playful; like nothing truly terrible will happen to this character. The book description tells a different story. I grew up on books like 'Speak' and hope this can be another achingly relevant but ultimately triumphant story to add to the list for survivors.
