This sounds really intense, but also like a great read. I can’t imagine the devastation and heartache the character goes through at the hands of one of the people who she loves and trusts above all others. The one who is supposed to protect her. And how would you deal with telling your family? I hope this is made into a movie. I wish we would’ve gotten more of a first look. How long does she date the guy before this happens? With her dad being a big trial lawyer, one would think the guy would be scared to even think of messing with her.
