I think that the premise and the cover for this book is very intriguing. However, as soon as I started reading the book, I was turned off by that best friend character. I can already tell she was going to get on my nerves. Very hyper, bubbly, silly sort of girl. It read VERY much like a teen novel. I was hoping it'd be a little more mature and deeper, although I bet it gets deeper the further you read.
