This first impression was super brief and doesn't begin to hint at what's shared in the book summary, but the writing is perfect - it sounds like the voice of a high school girl (in this case Sparrow, a ballerina) but never sounds too amateurish or juvenile. I'd love to see how a relationship with Tristan makes Sparrow into a strong, empowered young woman.
