After reading the description and seeing the comparison to Speak, I was very intrigued and prepared for a heavy YA read. In the first chapter, the author gets right into it and shows us the beginning of Sparrow and Tristan's relationship. This encounter felt a little contrived and Tristan seems pushy, but I am curious to see how their relationship develops. I don't love the cover because it's not particularly eye-catching, but it does reflect the serious tone of the book.
