Abuse is such a terrible thing and I think this book is going to tell Sparrow's story well and hopefully help others who are afraid to speak about what is happening to them. It's absolutely heartbreaking to read about her thinking she would be safe after her mother died and then to suffer a different kind of abuse with her boyfriend Tristan. I look forward to reading this story, and seeing how Sparrow finds the courage to speak out and move forward with her life.
