The initial pages give off a ubiquitous high-school vibe. The It-Boy, the anxious girl, and the inevitable fall.
Unfortunately since this book was likened to Speak, the summary gave away the biggest conflict sure to happen in the story. I'm not usually one for reading books with dancer-main characters only because it's not something I can relate to. I'm sure Sparrow holds much potential; it's just not a book that appeals to me.
