This sounds like it's going to be a more darker YA novel than I'm used to reading. Savannah is going to be dealing with a brutal assault by her boyfriend (which enrages me already) while also dealing with not having a mother around. I have a feeling this is going to be a highly emotional book and Sparrow will have to deal with a lot of issues.
