The first chapter to Sparrow seems to be a cute introduction to a YA novel about a girl who is an extremely talented ballet dancer and a "heart-throb" boy who appears to be over-the-top charming. I had to read the novel's blurb in order to truly get a grasp on what the story would be about. This appears to be a YA novel, and one that may get very dark.
