This book begins with some classic YA cute cheese--the main character, Sparrow, is thrown into a sudden meeting with her crush, and some adorable interactions spur from there. I am a sucker for a cute story, but I'm really intrigued by the deeper and more tragic story that underlies this surface. This book sounds great!
