I spent a lot of time in ballet class growing up, so I understand the all consuming passion for the perfection of that art. It shades every moment of the day. It colors all decisions. Sparrow is an accurate picture of the life of a ballerina; highly regulated and mostly left on the social sidelines. Her attraction to Tristan is complicated and fraught with complications.... bring on the rest of the story.
