This book opens with Sparrow, a ballet student, racing to get from school to her ballet class. It is doubtful that she’ll make it in time, but you still find yourself rooting for her when a chance encounter with a classmate’s Mustang in the parking lot results in bloody knees and all hope of avoiding the ballet teacher’s wrath are gone. There’s a history between Sparrow and Tristan, and I’m curious to see where this story goes.
