This book is very interesting! When I read the summary, it was very intriguing and now that I've read the book, it was even more fun to read than the summary. I didn't expect Lan to reject Bao so harshly because he was trying to explain how much he cares about her, and she slapped him in the face! I wish Bao stayed long enough to have Lan forgive him. But if I was in Lan's position, I would also feel humiliated if the person who I thought loved me didn't even exist. I like the writing style because it gives a clear image of the setting. The characters have a lot of depth which I really enjoy. I rate this book 4 or 5 stars because it was an extremely good book, but some of the characters were hard to depict because I didn't know who some people were. I was having trouble matching the names to the characters.
