First Impressions of "Song of the Crimson Flower"

I loved the cover. It looks so beautiful. Reading the synopsis I am intrigued to know Lan And Bao's story. I liked how the story is filled with magic, witches, curses, and everything great for the fall. The fact that it's the guy who gets cursed by the witch and the girl is setting out to cure him of his curse is interesting. I never read anything with a person trapped in an inanimate object. I guess its a great premise and its similarity to fairy tale helps readers excited for the story as well in my opinion.
