Awww What a Start to a Love Affair!

While this isn’t strictly a hate to love romance I was still really captured by the depthful relationship between Lan and Bao. She doesn’t realize quite yet that she really did fall in love with a man... it’s just he wasn’t who she thought. This was totally her killing the messenger (or rather being terribly mean where she knew it would wound him the most.) and I equally understand her lashing out at him. And Bao is such a sweetheart! He totally deserves happiness. As a doctor (all about the patient) and as an orphan (everyone deserves a family!)

I’m totally invested in these two. TOTALLY! I can’t wait to get to the more supernatural elements and see how the two reunite. I’m also intrigued by the politics and seeing what if anything it has to do with Lan and Bao.
