The first look of Song of the Crimson Flower by Julie C. Day proves that this is a sweet fantasy genre romance worth a read. Romance and high fantasy are generally not my go-to genre but the Vietnamese setting in this novel is intriguing. The cover is well designed, intricate and eye-catching. The illustrations on the interior pages is a nice touch as well.
