It was a refreshing read to see what differences there were from the original to this one and it made it feel like you were given a warm hug. Even if you haven't read the original but have seen any of the movies, then you might as well read this one because it gives you similar yet different vibes. You won't feel like you were left out of anything but also gives you something new as well. The writing style to me was very easy to read and understand. The story was great and the characters were very likable, more so in this book than the original. But that was just me. It was a great book to read during winter or fall. It was one of those books that makes you feel like you can get back in to reading reimagined tales, especially those of classics that see like they need that rewrite of it. Plus it makes you think how it has changed times from then until now...
